It's been a busy year for Wellington's very own crooner Steve Carlin, performing up and down New Zealand at festivals, events, conferences and weddings. Steve has performed at numerous festivals and events all over the country and as far afield as Australia, Fiji and Germany. His lush style and vocal textures unerringly bring the classic songs to life, igniting the audience’s love for the music of the magical swing era.

 

Steve is a regular draw card at NZ's premiere wine festival Toast Martinborough, and has performed at events from Westpac Stadium to All Black Dan Carter’s wedding and beyond. He’s performed shows with the Rodger Fox Big Band and Ray Woolf. His appeal is wide ranging which ensures he performs at numerous conferences, weddings and events, and is a seasoned entertainer in demand.

 

Steve recently released his debut album "All you need is me", which debuted at No.14 on the NZ album charts. It is available on Spotify and usual online outlets.

In his 'spare' time, Steve is an active and founding member of Wellington's iconic pop-rock band Uncle Monkey. Uncle Monkey have also been performing around the country and beyond, for over 2 decades! You can find them here : www.unclemonkey.com

The ball was awesome! And everyone LOVED Steve! He was so good, everyone thought it was just the ipod playing and then they realised it was someone actually singing. Very pleased, and very happy with the performance as was everyone else and he is someone I would definitely recommend.
